mods We the mods want this game to be fair for everyone. If there's something you don't like, a suggestion you have, or even a complaint, please don't hesitate to bring it to our attention! Know that while we may not always agree or use your idea, your input as a player IS important to us, and paramount to this game! But also realize that arguing with the mods, once they've made a decision, is not a smart thing to do. mature content There will be mature content here, so the age limit is 18. If you can prove your maturity, we may accept a few years younger. However, because of legal issues, we ask that you not participate in or read sex scenes if you are not of legal age where you live. This game is for fun, we really don't want to get arrested. drama No OOC drama IC and no IC drama OOC. It's silly and stupid to do so and we won't put up with it. If you have a problem with someone OOC, keep it OOC, and vice versa. We're very accessible mods; while it's usually best to try and work things out yourself, if for some reason you can't or have tried and failed, that's what we're here for! We will do our best to help with any problems or issues you might have. Even if it's with one of us. writing Please use proper grammar and spelling. Spell check is your friend! Typos are forgivable in moderation; but if we see you constantly spelling things incorrectly or using improper punctuation/grammar, you will be asked to use spell check. Please do not include actions (such as *giggles and then responds*) in any journal post or reply/comment. god-moding No god-moding. No controlling other people's characters without their permission. This includes but is not limited to speaking for them, writing out their reaction to something, reading their thoughts, assuming something about their looks/thoughts/actions/etc., or making references to something that your character has no way of knowing. It's pretty simple; Play your character and no one else's. character limits We accept any canon character (series, book, movie & JK canon) and children of canon characters. OCs are ONLY allowed from the Charmed verse and only after most Charmed characters are taken. There is no character limit as long as you show that you can handle all your characters and play them equally. Please try to vary your character choices and not play all of one family or both sides of a married couple, etc. activity Activity! This game thrives on the activity of its members. With that said, we expect ALL characters to be active at least once a week. Activity Checks will be run as needed. Also, one-liners are nobody's friend. Please try to remember quantity along with quality. journals Each character must have a personal journal. Add only MAGIC SCHOOL friends. Only one character per journal. Personal journals are magically linked like with most games, a creation of the WWW. Charmed characters may use the internet as well. magic_school is for 3rd person threads and owls/letters/phonecalls only. magic_ooc is for all Out of Character posts. canon in relationships We love canon, we hope you do too! That said, we would like to stick as close to canon personalities as possible. If your character is supposed to marry/reproduce with/etc another character that is in-game already, please poke them or a mod so that everyone is in agreement. If you're the first part of a couple or first child of a canon character, you get to set the bar, yay you! time and place Time will move daily. Just pretend it's 2025 instead of 2009! Simple! Gameplay will take place cross-continentally. If you have a European character, feel free to have them roam Europe (Hogwarts, Diagon, London, etc) or visit America (Salem Institute, Halliwell Manor, San Francisco, etc) and vice-versa for American characters. The Underworld and Up-There are on a case-by-case basis, as not everyone will have access to them.
