Hundreds of years ago, when the Ministry of Magic first began, wizards wanted a separation of church and state. In order to let wizards govern themselves, the Elders allowed it. now, in the 21st century, angels and demons are highly regarded as myths and legends by witches and wizards in Europe. Over the past few generations even the Department of Unspeakables has become barely more than a conspiracy theory, though they still work as a government cover-up for demons and angels.

When Europeans colonized the Americas they were shocked to find the natives over-run with demons. White Lighters, who had previously only been dispatched with extreme secrecy in dire situations, were sent in droves to this New World. America became a place where witches and wizards had no government. The Elders created a magical high school of sorts in Salem, but even that failed to inspire a true sense of community in the Americans. So the Elders let Europe manage themselves and focused on the witches and wizards in the States.

The late 90s were traumatic for both worlds. In Europe Voldemort ran amock, even tually destroyed by Harry Potter, a boy history and the Elders would not soon forget. Back in the States the Source of All Evil, followed by the Ultimate Power, were taken out by the Charmed Ones. Both forces of good were equally foretold in their own circles. No one ever thought they would cross paths. By 2005 both worlds were calm again and both schools were reopened. Witches and wizards with nothing more than stories of great battles went about life as per normal, never dreaming anything that terrible could happen again.

But the next evil was dreaming about them. Demons running from the Halliwells returned to Europe. The Unspeakables expanded, unknown to the rest of the wizarding world. Evil thought to be dead on both sides rose again. A demon calling himself Thezor set himself up as the Source of All Evil, surprisingly unchallenged. As his first act of power he gave demon life to Gellert Grindelwald. His only request was that the wizard focus his attacks on the U.S. first. It was only a matter of time before Death Eaters, now following a new Dark Lord, were sent to Salem and the demon ranks of the new Source started infiltrating the Ministry of Magic.

Now it's 2025 and the responsibility to protect good magic falls on the new generation of both continents. The Potter-Weasley Progeny are going to have to team up with the Halliwell-Mitchell kids if they expect to overcome the new faces of evil threatening their peaceful little worlds. And thanks to a new exchange program this is made easier than ever.
